Presenting the portrait Ben is Awesome! So last year I did a portrait of Ben. However I wasn't very happy with the result. It was a bit of a personal experiment, but i felt like it wasn't on the same level as the previous two portraits. So I started over using different reference images. In april 2014 I finished it after a couple of days. One of the others hosts got it printed for me (shipping to Canada is too expensive), but unfortunately during the next gift-show they did Ben couldn't be there and I had to wait till the next gift-show. They only do a couple of these special shows a year, so this meant that I had to wait till last week. H

In november 2012 I started working on a birthday present for Fraser Agar, the main host of the Canadian show Video Games Awesome. I finished it a couple of months ago and when I got the opportunity to meet Kyle Huinink, who is another host of VGA, I decided to turn it into a series of portraits. There are a total of 5 hosts and 1 mascot. Me and Kyle at the VGA fanmeet in Amsterdam. The first two I finished were Fraser and Kyle. I turned Kyle into wood, because he is a carpenter for a living (besides co-hosting vga). Last week I finished the third one. For this portrait I tried out a different approach. I am trying to post something on a more regular basis and do some more drawings for practice instead of projects only. So expect to see more of me in the future :)
